Shipping Information

We ship from Scotland. UK.

When your order is processed you will receive an email confirming your order details. And we will let you know when your order is dispatched.

Parcels will be processed and shipped within 3 working days (excluding holidays and weekends)

For UK delivery please allow 7 working days (excluding holidays and weekends) from order for delivery before contacting us. We will endeavour to dispatch within 3 working days and get your parcel to you as quickly as possible.

For the rest of the world/International delivery please allow 10 - 14 working days (excluding holidays and weekends) from your order for delivery before contacting us. We will endeavour to dispatch within 3 working days and get your parcel to you as quickly as possible.

If your order is returned to us - due to incorrect mailing details being provided - we will resend your order but you will be liable for any additional postage costs

If your country has any additional postal taxes, charges or border fees we will not be held responsible for the charge/cost. The customer is responsible for payment of these

Shipping costs - UK Orders

Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail: First Class post at a standard rate of £2

Royal Mail aim to deliver the next working day (including Saturday) but delivery times may take longer and this is out of our control.

Europe and Republic of Ireland

Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail at a standard rate of £6.50

Royal Mail Europe delivery aim is 3-5 working days but delivery times may take longer and this is out of our control.

Import taxes and fees vary by region and must be paid by the customer

International Orders

Parcels will be sent via Royal Mail at a standard rate of £12.50

Worldwide delivery aim: 6-7 working days but delivery times may take longer and this is out of our control

Import taxes and fees vary by region and must be paid by the customer

Potential service interruptions

Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of our control

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at nicola@homerandhowells.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you

 

Digital Downloads  

Our online shop is hosted by Squarespace. On confirmation of payment we/Squarespace supply, via email, a digital download link to access digital products.  This link will expire 24 hours after it is first clicked.   

Customers must access and download the files within this timeframe. Homer and Howells is not a file holding facility on behalf of customers.  

Homer and Howells can resend the digital download link to customers after the 24 hour period has expired.  You may contact Homer and Howells through their website contact form, or by emailing nicola@homerandhowells.com 

Returns & Exchanges

RETURNS / REFUNDS - DIGITAL PRODUCTS 

Should an error or issue be found in a digital product, Homer and Howells will supply a corrected file, and supply a new download link for customers to access the product.  We do not offer refunds on our digital products.

RETURNS / REFUNDS - PAPER PATTERNS

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  Returns are for goods bought directly from Homer and Howells.  If you bought from a 3rd party please contact them directly.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

 

Digital patterns are exempt from being returned

 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted: (if applicable)

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

 

Refunds to credit/debit cards usually take 2-5 business days, however, it can take up to 30 days depending on the card company involved. If you paid with a PayPal balance, the money is refunded to your PayPal balance

 

Stripe submits refund requests to your customer's bank or card issuer. You will see the refund as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at nicola@homerandhowells.com

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping Returns

To return your product please email nicola@homerandhowells.com to confirm before posting.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
